London Chophouse in Detroit

Very nice evening here. 3 piece band doing holiday and classic tunes softly enough to converse. Derrick at the bar made us two perfect martinis. David took care of our extremely good dinner. Finally a chef who knows how to cook a steak as requested. The attention to detail here is astonishing and wonderful. I don't mind paying for quality and the London chop House is the real deal.

Love this place. Such a unique atmosphere. The manager George is nothing but a gentleman. Thank you George and Jamie for making my engagement dinner so special. Service like this will ensure we are coming back for our anniversary ;)

The London Chop House was an amazing experience! The food was out of this world, and the service and ambiance where spot on. We spent some time before and after dinner in the cigar lounge which was comfortable and the Bartender was helpful with our million questions.

The London Chophouse is old school excellent. The room holds a host of memories and the food is as perfect as ever.

Outstanding restaurant. I sat at the bar and had fantastic service, granted I was only one of at the most during my time at the bar four customers, with most of the time, just me and one other person. The food was great, cooked as expected, and as described. The hardwood look is great, and very old school in my book. During my visit they had live piano music which was also great.

Me and my husband went here 7-23-20 for our Anniversary. The food was amazing. I had the crab cocktail which was tasty! Also, the 24oz ribeye that was cooked to perfection. My husband had the 32oz porterhouse. Everything was absolutely amazing. The band was nice. I would like to add I love the QR code menu that you can pull up from your phone. Love it! We will be returning soon. Anyone reading please go try this restaurant. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in.

This was my first earring experience in Downtown Detroit on my trip. From the doorman/ greeter to the server, everything was really nice. The food was delicious. Their fried Brussel Sprouts are absolutely delicious. Everything I ate was great.

Food was good service was excellent, thank you Tito for the service. Doorman and valet was good, entertainment was good. Expensive but it is worth it, I was celebrating my wife's birthday!!!!!!

LCH is a delight! The ambiance, the staff and the food are all spectacular. We've only ever tried the steak and I can heartily recommend any on their menu, but the Wagyu New York strip is a favorite. Try the Mac and cheese as a side and you won't go wrong with the pork belly appetizer.

The thing I really appreciated about London Chop House is their decor, ambience, friendliness, and class. The live entertainment was an excellent addition to the amazing meal I was served here.We had the steak taretare, lobster, wagyu steak, their amazing house salad and soups, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Everything was spectacular.I also commend them on their handling of their dining area during the pandemic. They do well to distance you from other tables. Very well in line with my standard.

Went here with high expectations for a special occasion after hearing about it.. was actually quite shocked that it not only lived up to the hype but surpassed it. Calamari appetizer is some of the best I've had. Staff is extremely courteous, from the doorman to the server, everyone goes out of their way to ensure great service. They serve creekstone steak options as well!

What an amazing return to public dining post COVID-19. I felt so comfortable and safe during my dinner on Friday night at London Chop House. The waitstaff was very clean and made it such a normal experience. The food was way better than what I have been cooking for myself over the last few months in quarantine. And special thank you to Yorn for being so kind. 10 stars, five is not enough.

Excellent excellent service and food quality. I was having a horrible night and they’ve did everything to make it better. I could not ask more from a place. I would definitely go back without hesitation or recommend my friends to go here for a classy dining experience.

The food as expected is fantastic. The reasons to come here are the service and experience. It started with the doorman, who is the most pleasant and courteous person you'll ever meet. His voice is reminiscent of old movie announcers. The front desk was able to take us in early and the servers were incredibly attendant and nice.

First time I'd ever been here. The steak was amazing, shared some mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes which were out of this world. Loved the pair of guitarists playing too. The staff was very helpful and the valet top notch! Highly recommend!

Dinner was fantastic! Spent a lot of money but it was very worth it for my girlfriend's birthday. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a great meal. Food time was great too. Only wait 5-10 minutes for our appetizers. Another 10 minutes later our entrees came out. Dorian the door man was awesome too. Just a great experience overall

This restaurant was amazing from beginning to end. We had an amazing time and best of all, amazing food. We loved our waiter. He was very helpful and funny. The drinks were great too. They had an amazing live band. I've been here a few times and never had a bad experience.

Not the best steak in Detroit, but the best steak I’ve ever had anywhere! The staff and management were just fantastic. I sat in the same booth Henry Ford used to sit in. The interior decor takes you back a century with the finest woodwork I’ve seen in a restaurant or building for that matter. My compliments to the chef and staff. I can’t wait to come back.

We love this place. From the steak to the service there is no finer steak house in the Metro Detroit area. Every time we try a new steak house my hubby compares it to here and no one has ever lived up to their standards. We love going here.

Crab bisque was the best soup I've ever had. Wagyu strip was mind blowingly good! There's a cigar bar there so you can smell the cigars sometimes as you travel around which was a plus for me, but may not be for others.

Outstanding restaurant! The food, service and atmosphere were on point! Loved everything about this place. It's expensive but absolutely worth it! I cannot wait to come back!

I definitely enjoyed the service and food at London Chophouse. I recently went to celebrate my Ladies promotion at her. The environment was great, the music was great. We had excellent drinks and just an overall great experience. Will definitely make this place a routine visit.

The steak tartare was phenomenal. Service is excellent. Went for lunch and felt like I was in a time machine. All of the food was excellent.

Fantastic chill atmosphere and live entertainment. Drinks and food (filet, ginger asparagus, garlic mash potatoes) were perfection. Would definitely recommend!

Went with a large group for a friends birthday back in November, service was great, food was top notch.

Phenomenal service from the moment I stepped out of my car! A very kind and outgoing doorman walked me from my car to the restaurant. Had a wonderful and attentive waiter. Food was delicious, there were no complaints and we were about 15 people.

Had a work event here, everything was spectacular except for valet. I had left my purse in the car and didn't realize it until after they had valet it so I went back to see if they could grab it for me. I only had one $5 bill in my purse and I noticed it was gone...I didn't say nothing I just considered that his tip at the end of the night. My fault for leaving purse in car but you shouldn't steal.

We like a lot hanging out. Last night we arrived in this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a beautiful experience there with excellent meal and a professional crew and a professional cook. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will surely visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

From start to finish, our first visit to celebrate our anniversary was luxurious. from our cocktails to our appetizers, our server Mishal took great care of us! The London Chop House is a must visit at least once in your life. as this was our first time, we will definitely be back!

First time back since remodel and was pleased. Staff very attentive and food tasty. Very surprised as we were celebrating two Birthdays and the place is EXPENSIVE and we had to pay for two deserts. This left a very bad taste and we most likely will not be going back. Great place to enjoy a wonderful great tasting meal and superb service. The lobster bisque, salmon and spinach were a few tasty choices on the menu. Well worth a visit when visiting downtown Detroit.

This place is great. The food is well prepared and ambiance is even better. I chose to go to this place thus my name being London but was even more impressed with the service and live musical performance, very classy. I ordered the filet which was well prepared and seasoned. My wife's steak was extravagant!! It was here that I asked my now wife to be my girlfriend, so this place will forever be dearest to our memories.

I've been hearing great reviews about this restaurant and ended up getting reservations for Valentines' Day Weekend. I definitely recommend getting reservations before hand if you're thinking about coming to this restaurant. It got pretty packed to the point that the host asked (after completing our dinner and sitting there for awhile) if we could move to their lounge area (cigar lounge, pool table). While doing so they did provide a complimentary drink for the inconvenience. I order the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. The servers/staff were friendly and attentive to your needs even with a packed house. The manager stopped by our table and chatted for a min to make sure our dinner was up to our satisfaction. For it to be a high end restaurant, our bill wasn't an arm and a leg.
